If you're not sure, message us and we'll talk it through. - Q: I have asthma / heart issues / I'm on medication. Can I dive? A: Possibly, but you need to be cleared by a doctor first. PADI requires a medical questionnaire before any dive. We email the form on booking, and if any item is checked yes, a doctor's sign-off is required before the day of the trip. - Q: How deep will we go? A: Maximum 6 meters on the Discover Scuba programme. This is set by PADI standards for first-time divers and your instructor will keep an eye on the depth gauge the whole time. - Q: What fish will I see? A: On the Giftun reefs you'll regularly see lionfish, parrotfish, sergeant majors, butterflyfish, the occasional Napoleon wrasse and clownfish in their anemone. Visibility is typically 15 to 20 meters. - Q: Will I need to take an exam? A: No. Discover Scuba Diving is an introductory experience, not a course. You don't take a written exam and you don't earn the full Open Water certification. You do get a PADI Discover Scuba Diving certificate at the end of the day, which counts toward the full Open Water course if you decide to continue later. - Q: Can I dive if I'm pregnant? A: No. PADI standards prohibit scuba diving during pregnancy. Snorkeling is fine. If you're pregnant, we recommend our Orange Bay or Hula Hula snorkel trips instead. - Q: Can I fly after diving? A: Not on the same day. PADI advises a minimum of 18 hours between your last dive and flying. So if you're flying home, book this trip at least one full day before your flight. --- ### Private Speedboat to the Islands, Pick Your Island Category: Speedboat Experiences · Destination: Giftun Island Price: from €130 per boat (1–8 guests) · Duration: 4h · Guest rating: 4.9/5 from 134 approved reviews Book: https://yala-hurghada.com/trips/private-speedboat Private speedboat from Hurghada for up to 8 guests. Choose your island, Magawish, Hula Hula or Orange Bay, and your departure: 09:00 or 13:00. One flat price for the whole boat. Fresh fruit, drinks and hotel transfer included. This is the easy way to get the island to yourselves. You book the whole speedboat, not a seat on a crowded big boat, and you tell us which island you want: Magawish, Hula Hula or Orange Bay. The boat is yours for about four hours with a captain who runs straight to your island, stops at a sheltered reef on the way for a snorkel, and gives you beach time before bringing you back. There are two departures every day, a morning run at 09:00 and an afternoon run at 13:00, pick whichever suits your day. The price is flat for 1 to 8 guests, so a couple pays the same as a family of eight. Fresh fruit, soft drinks and water are on board, snorkel gear is provided, and round-trip hotel transfer is included. Lunch is not included on this format (the focus is speed and beach time), but you can buy food at the island or add a catering option. Included: - Whole private speedboat (1 to 8 guests, one flat price) - Choice of island: Magawish, Hula Hula or Orange Bay - Choice of departure: 09:00 or 13:00 - Captain and crew - One guided snorkel stop with gear - Fresh fruit, soft drinks and water on board - Free round-trip hotel transfer - Marine park fees Not included: - Lunch (buy at the island or add catering) - Tips for captain and crew (recommended) - Photo and video package What to bring: - Swimsuits and towels for everyone - Reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses, hats - Cash for island food and crew tips Itinerary: - T-45: Hotel pickup — Air-conditioned car for your group, about 45 minutes before departure. 20 to 30 minutes to the marina. - 00:00: Departure (09:00 or 13:00) — Meet your captain, quick briefing, then straight out toward your chosen island. - 00:40: Snorkel stop — Stop at a sheltered Giftun reef for a guided snorkel. Gear provided. - 01:30: Your island — Beach time at Magawish, Hula Hula or Orange Bay, whichever you picked at booking. Around 2 hours. - 03:40: Return run — Speed back to the marina. Driver waiting for the hotel transfer. FAQ: - Q: Is the price for the whole boat or per person? A: It's a flat rate for the whole speedboat for 1 to 8 guests. A couple pays the same as a family of eight. You are booking the boat, not a seat. - Q: Which islands can I choose? A: Magawish, Hula Hula or Orange Bay. You pick at booking. Magawish is the closest (calmest, good for families), Hula Hula and Orange Bay are a bit further with the famous white sandbars. The price is the same for all three. - Q: What are the departure times? A: Two departures every day: a morning run at 09:00 and an afternoon run at 13:00. You pick one at booking. Hotel pickup is about 45 minutes before departure. - Q: How many people fit on the boat? A: Up to 8 guests, children of any age included in the count. Comfortable for 6 with a shaded seat each; 7 or 8 still works but the deck is a bit tighter on the run out. - Q: Is lunch included? A: No. This format is built around speed and beach time, not a long on-board lunch. Fresh fruit, soft drinks and water are included. You can buy food at the island, or add the per-guest lunch box at booking. - Q: What if the weather is bad? A: If the marina closes for safety we cancel and you rebook for any other date or get a full refund. The captain's call is final, we never run a speedboat in unsafe conditions. --- ### Hurghada Quad Bike and Sunset Safari (3 hours) Category: Safari Adventures · Destination: Desert Safari Price: from €20 per adult · Duration: 3h · Minimum age: 8 · Guest rating: 4.7/5 from 58 approved reviews Book: https://yala-hurghada.com/trips/safari-3-hour Three-hour afternoon desert ride from Hurghada. One-hour quad bike across the plateau, Bedouin tea, sunset photo stop and back at your hotel by 19:30. The short safari that still feels like the real thing. The 3-hour safari is the right pick when you don't want to give up a whole evening but still want the desert. We pick you up from any Hurghada hotel at 16:00 and drive about forty minutes east to our Bedouin camp. After a short safety briefing, you ride a quad bike for a full hour across a hard-packed desert plateau (no license required, helmets and dust scarves provided, our staff lead the convoy front and back so first-time riders feel safe). Then a stop at a Bedouin village for sweetened mint tea and a glance at how the families who run the camp live. From there we move to the sunset photography point, fifteen minutes of free time as the light goes gold, and then back to your hotel by around 19:30. No dinner, no camel ride, no show, just the quad and the desert. Free round-trip hotel transfer is included. Included: - Round-trip hotel transfer from any Hurghada hotel - 60-minute quad bike ride with safety briefing - Helmet and dust scarf - Bedouin mint tea stop - Sunset photography stop - Bilingual safari guide Not included: - Dinner or full meal (this is the short safari) - Camel ride (book the 6-hour Super Safari instead) - Tips for the guide (optional) What to bring: - Closed shoes (sneakers are fine) - Light jacket for the return ride after sunset - Sunglasses - Phone or camera Itinerary: - 15:45: Hotel pickup — Air-conditioned van from any Hurghada hotel. About 40 minutes to the camp. - 16:30: Camp briefing — Quad bike safety briefing, helmet and dust scarf handed out. - 16:45: Quad ride (60 min) — One hour quad bike convoy across the plateau. Our team leads the front and back. - 17:50: Bedouin village — Short stop for sweetened mint tea, a glance at the village and a few photos. - 18:30: Sunset point — Fifteen minutes free time at the photography point as the sun sets over the dunes. - 19:00: Return drive — Van back to your hotel. - 19:30: Hotel drop-off — Back at your hotel. FAQ: - Q: How is this different from the Super Safari? A: The 3-hour safari is just the quad bike + sunset + tea. It runs in the late afternoon and brings you back by 19:30. The 6-hour Super Safari adds a 4x4 jeep ride, a camel ride and a full Bedouin BBQ dinner with live music. Pick the 3-hour if you want a quick desert hit; pick the Super Safari if you want the full evening programme. - Q: Can children ride the quad? A: Children from age 8 can ride as a passenger on a parent's quad. Solo riding is from age 16. Helmets are provided in adult and child sizes. - Q: Do I need a license? A: No. The quads have automatic transmission and we run the convoy on a fixed route at a controlled pace. The briefing covers everything you need to know. - Q: Is the desert dusty? A: Yes. The plateau is hard-packed sand and dust, especially in the dry season. We provide a dust scarf, and we recommend sunglasses or sport goggles if you wear contact lenses. --- ### Private Speedboat to Dolphin House Category: Speedboat Experiences · Destination: Dolphin House Price: from €125 per boat (1–8 guests) · Duration: 5h · Guest rating: 4.8/5 from 109 approved reviews Book: https://yala-hurghada.com/trips/speedboat-dolphin-house Private speedboat straight to Dolphin House for up to 8 guests. One flat price, no per-person fee. Choose 09:00 or 13:00. Real chance to snorkel near wild spinner dolphins. Fruit, drinks and hotel transfer included. Dolphin House is the Hurghada trip to wild spinner dolphins that rest on the sheltered reefs near the city; the captain picks the reef each morning where the pod is. The big tourist boats take 90 minutes each way and arrive after everyone else. A private speedboat changes the trip completely: you go fast, you go on your own schedule, and you get to the reef while it's still calm. The whole boat is yours for up to 8 guests at one flat price. There are two departures every day, 09:00 and 13:00, you pick one at booking. The captain runs straight to the Dolphin House area, moors at the reef edge so you can snorkel the coral garden, and positions the boat where the pod is most likely to pass. We never chase or feed the dolphins, the guide explains the rules before you enter the water. Fresh fruit, soft drinks and water are on board, snorkel gear is provided, and round-trip hotel transfer is included. Included: - Whole private speedboat (1 to 8 guests, one flat price) - Round-trip hotel transfer from any Hurghada hotel - Snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, fins, life vest) - Two guided snorkel stops at Dolphin House - Choice of departure: 09:00 or 13:00 - Lunch served on board - Mineral water, Pepsi, tea and coffee Not included: - Lunch (fruit and drinks are included) - Tips for captain and crew (recommended) - Photo and video package What to bring: - Swimsuits, towels and an underwater camera - Reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses, hats - Cash for crew tips Itinerary: - T-75: Hotel pickup — Air-conditioned car for your group, about 75 minutes before departure. - 00:00: Departure (09:00 or 13:00) — Captain briefing on dolphin etiquette, then a fast run to the reef where the pod is resting today. - 00:50: Dolphin House reef — Moor at the reef edge. Snorkel the coral garden; the captain positions for the best chance of dolphins passing. - 02:30: Second snorkel — A second drift along a quieter part of the reef before the run back. - 03:45: Return run — Speed back to the marina. Driver waiting for the hotel transfer. FAQ: - Q: Is the price for the whole boat or per person? A: Flat rate for the whole speedboat for 1 to 8 guests. A couple pays the same as a group of eight. You book the boat, not a seat. - Q: Will we definitely see dolphins? A: Dolphin House is one of the most reliable spots in the Red Sea because the pod rests there during the day, but they are wild animals and nothing is guaranteed. A private speedboat improves your odds: you arrive faster and before the big-boat crowds, and the captain can reposition quickly to follow the pod. - Q: What are the departure times? A: Two every day: 09:00 and 13:00. You pick one at booking. The morning run is generally calmer water and the best dolphin odds. Hotel pickup is about 75 minutes before departure. - Q: How many people fit on the boat? A: Up to 8 guests, children of any age included in the count. The whole boat is yours either way, the price doesn't change with party size. - Q: Is it ethical? Do you chase the dolphins? A: No chasing, no feeding, no swimming into the pod. We follow Red Sea marine-park rules, the captain keeps a respectful distance and the guide briefs everyone before entering the water. The dolphins come to the reef on their own; we just put you in the right place quietly. - Q: What if the weather is bad? A: If the marina closes for safety we cancel and you rebook for any other date or get a full refund. The captain's call is final. --- ### Stargazing Desert Safari from Hurghada Category: Safari Adventures · Destination: Desert Safari Price: from €30 per adult · Duration: 5h · Minimum age: 6 · Guest rating: 4.8/5 from 34 approved reviews Book: https://yala-hurghada.com/trips/safari-stargazing Five-hour evening trip from Hurghada designed for the night sky. 4x4 jeep into the desert, traditional Bedouin dinner around the fire, and an hour of stargazing with our guide pointing out the planets and constellations. The Stargazing Safari is our evening programme for travelers who came to the Red Sea coast for the sea but want to see the night sky for a different reason. We pick you up at 17:00 and drive a 4x4 jeep about an hour east of Hurghada, deep enough into the protected desert plateau that light pollution from the city falls away. The camp is built around a low fire, with rugs and cushions on the sand and a long table for dinner. The meal is a Bedouin BBQ: grilled chicken or fish, salads, freshly baked bread cooked in the sand, fresh fruit and unlimited mint tea. After dinner, around 20:30, the staff douse the camp lanterns and our guide leads about an hour of naked-eye stargazing, pointing out the visible planets, Orion, Cassiopeia and the Milky Way when the moon is small. We return to your hotel by around 22:30. The programme is family-friendly (ages 6+) and the desert is genuinely quiet at night. Included: - Round-trip hotel transfer from any Hurghada hotel - 4x4 jeep into the protected desert plateau - Full Bedouin BBQ dinner around the fire - Unlimited mint tea, water and Bedouin coffee - Guided naked-eye stargazing session (~1 hour) - Bilingual safari guide Not included: - Telescope rental (we can arrange on request) - Tips for the guide and crew (optional) What to bring: - Warm layer (the desert is cold at night) - Closed shoes - Sunglasses for the drive in - Camera with manual mode if you have one - A blanket for the kids if you like Itinerary: - 16:45: Hotel pickup — Air-conditioned van or 4x4 jeep, depending on group size. - 17:45: Jeep into the desert — About an hour east of Hurghada, into the protected plateau. Light dims as the city falls behind. - 18:45: Arrival at camp — Welcome with mint tea around the fire. Cushions on the sand, rugs under foot. - 19:15: Bedouin BBQ dinner — Grilled chicken or fish, salads, sand-baked bread, fresh fruit, mint tea. Vegetarian option available on request. - 20:30: Stargazing session — Lanterns are dimmed. Our guide leads about an hour of naked-eye stargazing: visible planets, Orion, the Milky Way. - 21:30: Return drive — Jeep back to Hurghada. Coffee and biscuits on the way out for the kids. - 22:30: Hotel drop-off — Back at your hotel. FAQ: - Q: Will we really see the Milky Way? A: On a clear, moonless night, yes. The desert plateau east of Hurghada is dark enough that the Milky Way is visible to the naked eye for about half the month around new moon. We avoid the brightest part of the moon cycle when possible. Cloud cover is rare in this region but never zero, so we always treat the stargazing as the bonus, not the guarantee, the desert dinner is the trip on its own. - Q: Is this safe for young children? A: Yes. The drive in is on a graded desert road and the camp is fenced in with cushions and rugs. The fire is supervised throughout. We've taken kids as young as 4 (with a parent watching), the official minimum age is 6 because younger kids tend to get tired before the stargazing session. - Q: What if there are clouds? A: If the desert sky is completely overcast we still run the trip - the dinner, the desert, the fire and the company are the bulk of the experience. We don't refund or reschedule for weather but if the marina/safari is closed by the authorities for safety, you can rebook for any other date or get a full refund. - Q: Can I bring my own telescope or camera? A: Yes please. Tripods are fine for photography on the sand. If you want to bring a telescope, message us in advance so we can keep a flat parking spot for it at the camp. --- ### 60-Minute Aromatherapy Massage in Hurghada Category: Wellness and Spa · Destination: Hurghada City Price: from €15 per adult · Duration: 1h · Minimum age: 16 · Guest rating: 4.9/5 from 52 approved reviews Book: https://yala-hurghada.com/trips/spa-aromatherapy-60 One-hour full-body aromatherapy massage at our partner spa in Hurghada. FAQ: - Q: Is this the best massage to start with? A: Yes. If you've never had a Hurghada spa massage with us before, the 60-minute aromatherapy is the right starting point. Gentle pressure, premium oils, relaxing rather than therapeutic. - Q: Can I request firm pressure? A: Yes, but if you specifically want deep tissue work, book the 90-minute deep tissue session instead. The aromatherapy massage by design uses gentle to medium pressure. - Q: How much time should I block out? A: About 90 minutes from pickup to drop-off: 15 min drive each way, 10-15 min change/recovery, 60 min treatment. Plan a relaxed evening rather than a tight slot. - Q: Are couples bookings possible? A: Yes, add the couples upgrade or book two slots in the same time window and the spa places you in their couple suite for a side-by-side session. --- ### 90-Minute Deep Tissue Massage in Hurghada Category: Wellness and Spa · Destination: Hurghada City Price: from €20 per adult · Duration: 1h 30m · Minimum age: 16 · Guest rating: 4.8/5 from 38 approved reviews Book: https://yala-hurghada.com/trips/spa-deep-tissue-90 Ninety-minute therapeutic deep tissue massage at our partner spa in Hurghada. Targets shoulders, lower back and legs. Private round-trip hotel transfer included. The 90-minute deep tissue session is therapeutic rather than relaxing. It's the treatment we recommend for travelers who came to Hurghada carrying months of desk tension in the shoulders, lower back and hip flexors, or who want real muscle work after a long surf or active sea day. Our therapist works firm pressure into the trigger points, then eases out with longer relaxing strokes for the last fifteen minutes. The session is at our partner spa in central Hurghada, in a private treatment room. Private hotel transfer is included: driver collects you about 15 minutes before, brings you back when the session ends. Plan about two hours from pickup to drop-off. English-speaking, qualified therapists. Tell us at booking which areas to focus on. Included: - Private round-trip hotel transfer - 90-minute deep tissue massage - 5-minute pre-treatment consultation - Premium massage oils - Egyptian mint tea after the session Not included: - Tips for the therapist (optional) - Hot stone add-on (available on request) What to bring: - Just yourself Itinerary: - 15 min before: Hotel pickup — Private driver at your hotel reception. - 10-15 min: Drive to the spa — Short transfer to our partner spa. - On arrival: Consultation — 5-minute consultation: which areas to focus on, pressure level, any injuries. - 90 min: Deep tissue session — 75 minutes focused deep work + 15 minutes relaxing finish. - After: Tea and recovery — Mint tea and 10-15 minutes of rest. - Return: Drive back to your hotel — Same driver takes you back. FAQ: - Q: How is this different from the aromatherapy massage? A: The aromatherapy is gentle to medium pressure, designed to relax. The deep tissue is firm pressure working into the muscles, designed to release tension and trigger points. Aromatherapy if you want to unwind, deep tissue if you have actual tension to work out. - Q: Will it be painful? A: Deep tissue work pushes into discomfort, especially at the trigger points, but never beyond what you accept. Tell the therapist if you want more or less pressure at any moment, they adjust in real time. Some travelers feel a little sore the next day, like after a workout. - Q: Can I do this after a scuba dive? A: Wait at least 4 hours after your last dive, ideally the next day. Massage right after diving is not recommended because of the way it can move nitrogen out of tissues. After other activities (snorkel, safari, yacht) there's no waiting period. - Q: I have a back injury, is this safe? A: Tell us at booking. The therapist will adapt or, if it's a serious injury (slipped disc, recent surgery), we'll recommend the 60-minute aromatherapy instead. Massage is not a substitute for medical care. --- ### Cleopatra Plus Ritual in Hurghada (Coconut Body Mask + Massage) Category: Wellness and Spa · Destination: Hurghada City Price: from €25 per adult · Duration: 2h 30m · Minimum age: 16 · Guest rating: 4.9/5 from 33 approved reviews Book: https://yala-hurghada.com/trips/spa-cleopatra Ninety-minute ritual at our partner spa in Hurghada: full-body coconut body mask plus a nourishing face mask, followed by a 45-minute aromatherapy massage. Private hotel transfer included. The Cleopatra Plus is the ritual to book when the goal is glowing skin and a fully relaxed body in the same session. We open with a full-body coconut body mask, applied warm and worked over the whole body to deeply hydrate and rebuild the skin's natural softness, especially on shoulders, back and legs (the parts that take the most sun on a Hurghada holiday). A nourishing face mask is applied at the same time so the face gets the same care as the body. After a quick rinse at the spa, we move into a 45-minute aromatherapy massage with premium oils. The skin absorbs the oils completely after the mask, which is why this combo works so well. The full session at the spa is around 2 to 2.5 hours; expect about 3 hours from pickup to drop-off including transfer. Private hotel transfer is included. English-speaking, qualified therapists. Included: - Private round-trip hotel transfer - Full-body coconut body mask - Nourishing face mask - 45-minute aromatherapy massage - Premium aromatherapy oils - Towels and private rinse at the spa - Egyptian mint tea after the session Not included: - Tips for the therapist (optional) What to bring: - Just yourself Itinerary: - 15 min before: Hotel pickup — Private driver at your hotel reception. - 10-15 min: Drive to the spa — Short transfer to our partner spa. - On arrival: Welcome and change — Robe, slippers and a quick orientation in a private room. - 30 min: Honey scrub — Warm Egyptian honey scrub applied over the full body, gently worked in. - 5 min: Rinse — Quick private shower at the spa. - 60 min: Aromatherapy massage — Full-body massage with premium oils, gentle to medium pressure. - After: Tea and recovery — Mint tea and 10-15 minutes of rest. - Return: Drive back — Same driver takes you back to your hotel. FAQ: - Q: Will my skin be irritated? A: The honey scrub is gentle by design and most travelers feel only a warm tingle. We do not use abrasive salts. If you have very sensitive skin or active sunburn, mention it at booking and the therapist will skip the affected area or use a lighter blend. - Q: Can I sunbathe afterwards? A: Avoid direct sun for 24 hours after the scrub. The skin is freshly exfoliated and a bit more sensitive. Book the Cleopatra in the late afternoon or evening if you plan a beach day the next day. - Q: How is this different from the Moroccan Hammam? A: Both end with a finishing massage but the middle differs. Cleopatra uses a warm honey scrub on dry skin for a brightening, sweet-skin finish; the Moroccan Hammam uses warm steam, black soap, and a kessa-glove scrub for a much deeper full-body exfoliation. Cleopatra is the gentler, glowing-skin ritual; Hammam is the full reset. - Q: Are couples bookings available? A: Yes, add the couples upgrade or book two slots in the same time window. The spa places you in the couple suite for a side-by-side ritual with two therapists. --- ### Moroccan Hammam Ritual in Hurghada Category: Wellness and Spa · Destination: Hurghada City Price: from €25 per adult · Duration: 2h 30m · Minimum age: 16 · Guest rating: 4.7/5 from 27 approved reviews Book: https://yala-hurghada.com/trips/spa-moroccan-hammam Ninety-minute traditional Moroccan hammam at our partner spa in Hurghada. Warm steam, black-soap exfoliation, kessa-glove scrub and a finishing aromatherapy massage. Private hotel transfer included. The Moroccan Hammam is the full reset. The programme runs through the spa's shared facilities and combines steam, sauna and jacuzzi access with a thorough body scrub and exfoliation, then closes with a 45-minute finishing aromatherapy massage to seal the skin and deeply relax the body. The full ritual is around 2 to 2.5 hours at the spa, plus the transfer on either side. Round-trip hotel transfer from any Hurghada hotel is included. English-speaking, qualified therapists. Most travelers book this once per Hurghada holiday and tell us it is the single best reset of the trip. Included: - Round-trip hotel transfer from any Hurghada hotel - Sauna access - Steam room access - Jacuzzi access - Full-body scrub and exfoliation - 45-minute aromatherapy massage - Towels at the spa - Egyptian mint tea after the session Not included: - Tips for the therapist (optional) What to bring: - Just yourself - Optional: your own swimwear if you prefer (one is provided) Itinerary: - 15 min before: Hotel pickup — Private driver at reception. - 10-15 min: Drive to the spa — Short transfer to our partner spa. - 15 min: Steam room — Sit in the warm steam room to open the pores. Towel and swim-bottoms provided. - 10 min: Black soap — Therapist applies traditional black soap over the body, let it sit a few minutes. - 20 min: Kessa scrub — Section by section full-body scrub with the kessa glove. The signature step. - 5 min: Rinse — Warm rinse in a private shower at the spa. - 30 min: Finishing massage — Aromatherapy massage with premium oils to seal the skin and relax the body. - After: Tea and recovery — Mint tea and 10-15 minutes of rest. - Return: Drive back — Same driver takes you back to your hotel. FAQ: - Q: How much skin actually comes off? A: More than you'd guess. The combination of steam and black soap softens the dead skin layer thoroughly, and the kessa glove lifts it off in visible rolls. It's the most distinct sensation in spa work. Most travelers describe their skin as 'completely new' afterwards. - Q: Is the steam room hot? A: Warm rather than blistering. Around 40 to 45°C, designed to open the pores without exhausting you. If you feel uncomfortable at any point, step out, the therapist will check on you. - Q: Can I sunbathe afterwards? A: Avoid direct sun for 24 hours. The kessa exfoliation goes deep and the skin is freshly bare. Book the hammam late afternoon or evening if you have a beach day the next day, or schedule it on an arrival-day evening. - Q: Is this safe during pregnancy? A: We do not recommend the hammam during pregnancy because of the steam room. The 60-minute aromatherapy massage is safer during pregnancy with a pregnancy-trained therapist - we can arrange that on request from the second trimester onwards. - Q: How is this different from Cleopatra Plus? A: Different exfoliation method. Cleopatra uses a warm honey scrub on dry skin (brightening, glowing). Hammam uses steam, black soap and a kessa glove (deeper, full reset). Both finish with an aromatherapy massage. Cleopatra is the gentler choice, Hammam is the radical one. --- ### Red Sea Horse Riding in Hurghada (Beach and Desert) Category: Safari Adventures · Destination: Desert Safari Price: from €25 per adult · Duration: 2h · Minimum age: 6 · Guest rating: 4.7/5 from 29 approved reviews Book: https://yala-hurghada.com/trips/horse-riding Two hours on horseback from Hurghada: ride the open desert and along the Red Sea shore, with the option to take your horse into the sea. Calm horses, beginner-friendly guides, free hotel transfer. This is the Hurghada horse ride that does both sides of the landscape in one go: the quiet desert behind the coast and the open Red Sea beach in front of it. We collect you from your hotel and drive to our stable near the shore, where you meet your horse and get a short briefing. The horses are well-kept, calm and used to first-time riders, and a guide rides with the group the whole way, walking beside anyone who has never been in a saddle. You ride out across the desert flats, then turn down onto the beach and along the waterline. If conditions are right and you want to, the guide takes you and the horse a little way into the shallows for the classic Red Sea swim with the horse, the photo everyone comes back for. You can book a sunrise slot for cool air and soft light or a late-afternoon slot for the sunset over the water. Pace is yours: a gentle walk the whole way, or a trot and canter on the open stretches once the guide sees you are comfortable. Round-trip hotel transfer is included. FAQ: - Q: I have never ridden a horse. Is that ok? A: Yes. Most of our guests have never ridden. The horses are calm and used to beginners, the pace is a gentle walk unless you ask for more, and the guide rides with the group and walks beside first-time riders. You will get a short briefing before you set off. - Q: Do we really go into the sea on the horse? A: Only if you want to and conditions are safe that day. The sea swim with the horse is the signature part of this ride, but it is optional. Bring a swimsuit, a towel and a change of clothes if you plan to do it. - Q: Can children ride? A: Children from age 6 can ride, led by the guide on the rein. Younger or nervous children can share the pace closely with a parent's horse. Tell us the ages when you book so we prepare the right horses. - Q: Sunrise or sunset, which is better? A: Sunrise is cooler, very quiet and has soft light. Late afternoon ends with the sun going down over the Red Sea. Both are beautiful; pick by what suits your day and we confirm the exact pickup time by WhatsApp. --- ### Luxury Pedicure in Hurghada (Spa with Hotel Transfer) Category: Wellness and Spa · Destination: Hurghada City Price: from €20 per adult · Duration: 45m · Minimum age: 12 · Guest rating: 4.9/5 from 88 approved reviews Book: https://yala-hurghada.com/trips/spa-luxury-pedicure A 45-minute eight-step pedicure ritual at our partner spa in Hurghada, built to undo a week of sand, salt and sun on your feet. Free round-trip hotel transfer included. A few days on a Red Sea beach are hard on feet: hot sand dries the heels, salt water and pool chlorine strip the skin, and sandals do the rest. This pedicure is the fix, and it is a real ritual rather than a quick paint job. The therapist starts with a warm rose-petal soak to soften everything, then works through an exfoliating scrub, a hydrating mask, careful cuticle work (softened and pushed back the European way, not cut), nail shaping to square or round as you like, a proper foot and lower-leg massage with rich creams, your colour in regular polish, and a final moisturising layer to seal it. Nothing is rushed. The whole thing runs about 45 minutes in the chair at our partner spa in Hurghada, and Yala handles the rest: a private car collects you from your hotel, brings you to the spa and takes you back, so the only thing you decide is the colour. Couples can book two side-by-side chairs and have the manicure done at the same time. Included: - Free round-trip hotel transfer - Warm rose-petal foot soak - Exfoliating scrub and hydrating mask - Cuticle care and nail shaping - Foot and lower-leg massage - Regular polish in your chosen colour Not included: - Gel-style polish (optional add-on) - Tips for the therapist (optional) What to bring: - Open sandals to protect fresh polish - Your own polish colour if you prefer one Itinerary: - 15 min before: Hotel pickup — Private driver collects you at your hotel reception. - 10-15 min: Drive to the spa — Short transfer to our partner spa in Hurghada. - 8 min: Rose-petal soak — Feet soak in a warm rose-petal bath to soften skin and nails. - 20 min: Scrub, mask and cuticle work — Exfoliating scrub, hydrating mask, gentle cuticle softening and nail shaping. - 12 min: Foot massage — A proper foot and lower-leg massage with rich creams. - 5 min: Polish and finish — Your colour applied, then a moisturising layer to seal it. - Return: Drive back — The same driver takes you back to your hotel. FAQ: - Q: How long does it really take? A: About 45 minutes in the chair. With the round-trip hotel transfer the whole outing is roughly an hour and a quarter door to door. We never rush the ritual to hit a clock. - Q: Is the hotel transfer really free? A: Round-trip pickup from any Hurghada hotel is included at no extra cost. Hotels in El Gouna, Sahl Hasheesh and Makadi Bay are outside the Hurghada zone, so we charge +EUR 10 per guest one-way for the transfer, paid in cash on the day. - Q: Can I get gel polish instead? A: Yes. Gel-style polish that lasts 2 to 3 weeks is a small upgrade you can add when booking or on the day. Removal of existing gel is also available and adds about 10 minutes. - Q: When do I pay? A: Reserve now and pay on arrival on the day, cash in EUR, USD or EGP, or by card if you prefer. No prepayment and no account needed. - Q: Can two of us go together? A: Yes. The spa has side-by-side chairs, so a couple or two friends are treated at the same time at no extra cost. Tell us when you book so we keep both seats. --- ### Luxury Manicure in Hurghada (Spa with Hotel Transfer) Category: Wellness and Spa · Destination: Hurghada City Price: from €20 per adult · Duration: 45m · Minimum age: 12 · Guest rating: 4.9/5 from 94 approved reviews Book: https://yala-hurghada.com/trips/spa-luxury-manicure A 45-minute eight-step manicure ritual at our partner spa in Hurghada that reverses a week of salt water, sunscreen and sand on your hands. Free round-trip hotel transfer included. Hands take more of a beating on a Red Sea holiday than people expect: salt water, sunscreen, sand and pool chlorine leave them dry and dull by mid-trip. This manicure is a proper recovery, not a rushed polish. The therapist begins with a warm rose-petal hand soak, then a gentle scrub and a hydrating mask, careful cuticle work (softened and pushed back, not cut), professional nail shaping, a relaxing hand and wrist massage with rich creams, your colour in regular polish and a finishing treatment to lock in the softness. It is paced calmly from start to finish. The session is about 45 minutes at our partner spa in Hurghada, and Yala arranges the rest: a private car from your hotel to the spa and back, so all you choose is the shade. Book two side-by-side stations for a couple or a pair of friends, and the pedicure can be done at the same visit. Included: - Free round-trip hotel transfer - Warm rose-petal hand soak - Gentle scrub and hydrating mask - Cuticle care and professional nail shaping - Hand and wrist massage - Regular polish in your chosen colour Not included: - Gel-style polish (optional add-on) - Tips for the therapist (optional) What to bring: - Your own polish colour if you prefer one - A note at booking if you have old gel to remove Itinerary: - 15 min before: Hotel pickup — Private driver collects you at your hotel reception. - 10-15 min: Drive to the spa — Short transfer to our partner spa in Hurghada. - 8 min: Rose-petal soak — Hands soak in a warm rose-petal bath to soften skin and cuticles. - 20 min: Scrub, mask and cuticle work — Gentle scrub, hydrating mask, cuticle softening and professional nail shaping. - 12 min: Hand massage — A relaxing hand and wrist massage with rich creams. - 5 min: Polish and finish — Your colour applied, then a finishing treatment to lock in softness. - Return: Drive back — The same driver takes you back to your hotel. FAQ: - Q: How long does it really take? A: About 45 minutes at the station. With the round-trip hotel transfer the whole outing is roughly an hour door to door. The ritual is paced calmly and not rushed. - Q: Can I get gel polish? A: Yes. Gel-style polish lasting 2 to 3 weeks is a small upgrade you can add. If you arrive with old gel on, we can soak it off safely; that adds about 10 minutes. - Q: When do I pay? A: Reserve now and pay on arrival on the day, cash in EUR, USD or EGP, or by card if you prefer. No prepayment and no account needed. - Q: Can I add a pedicure? A: Yes. Many guests book the manicure and pedicure together on the same visit, side by side. Add it when booking and we keep the time for both. --- ### Deep Facial Cleansing in Hurghada (Spa with Hotel Transfer) Category: Wellness and Spa · Destination: Hurghada City Price: from €30 per adult · Duration: 1h · Minimum age: 16 · Guest rating: 4.9/5 from 106 approved reviews Book: https://yala-hurghada.com/trips/spa-deep-facial-cleansing A 60-minute nine-step deep cleansing facial at our partner spa in Hurghada. Steam, manual extraction, LED therapy and a collagen layer. Free round-trip hotel transfer included. By the middle of a Red Sea holiday most skin feels heavy: salt, SPF, sand and air-conditioning sit on the surface and the usual hotel facial barely touches it. This is a proper 60-minute deep clean that actually goes below the surface. The nine steps run in order: a thorough cleanse, an exfoliating scrub, targeted facial steam to open the pores, careful manual extraction of blackheads and congestion, a treatment with a professional skincare device, a collagen hydration serum applied at the right moment, LED light therapy to calm and reduce post-extraction redness, a soothing mask, then mask removal and a final layer of skincare. It is customised for sensitive or breakout-prone skin and there is an option for problem acne. Skin can look slightly pink for an hour afterwards, which is normal, and guests routinely say it looks years fresher the next morning. The treatment is about 60 minutes at our partner spa in Hurghada, with a private car from your hotel and back arranged by Yala. Included: - Free round-trip hotel transfer - Deep cleanse and exfoliating scrub - Facial steam with manual extraction - Professional skincare device treatment - Collagen hydration serum - LED light therapy and calming mask Not included: - Problem-acne medical treatment (optional add-on) - Tips for the therapist (optional) What to bring: - Clean skin, no makeup if possible - A hat or SPF for after, and a low-sun rest of day Itinerary: - 15 min before: Hotel pickup — Private driver collects you at your hotel reception. - 10-15 min: Drive to the spa — Short transfer to our partner spa in Hurghada. - 10 min: Cleanse and scrub — Deep cleanse and an exfoliating scrub to clear the surface. - 15 min: Steam and extraction — Targeted steam opens the pores, then careful manual extraction of blackheads. - 15 min: Device and collagen — Professional skincare device, then a collagen hydration serum at peak timing. - 15 min: LED and mask — LED light therapy to calm redness, a soothing mask, then a final skincare layer. - Return: Drive back — The same driver takes you back to your hotel. FAQ: - Q: Why is my skin pink afterwards? A: That is normal and short-lived. Manual extraction and steam bring blood to the surface; the LED therapy step is there specifically to calm it. Most of the pinkness settles within an hour. - Q: Is it safe for sensitive skin? A: Yes, it is customised. Tell the therapist about sensitivity, recent sunburn or active breakouts and the pressure, steam and products are adjusted. There is also an optional step for problem acne. - Q: When should I book it in my trip? A: Ideally not right after strong sun, and keep the rest of that day low-sun with SPF. An arrival-day evening or a calmer afternoon works well, so the skin is at its freshest for the days that follow. - Q: When do I pay? A: Reserve now and pay on arrival on the day, cash in EUR, USD or EGP, or by card if you prefer. No prepayment and no account needed. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before. --- ## Destinations ### Giftun Island URL: https://yala-hurghada.com/destinations/giftun-island

The Giftun Islands are the heart of every full-day Hurghada boat trip. They sit 10 to 25 kilometers off the Hurghada coast and were declared a protected marine park decades ago. If you've ever seen a photograph of a white sandbar with turquoise water on both sides, taken from Hurghada, it was almost certainly somewhere in this archipelago.

What the Giftun archipelago actually is

Giftun is a small group of low, sandy, reef-fringed islands rather than a single landmass. The big island, locally called Big Giftun, runs roughly north-south and shelters several lagoons and a famous sandbar on its western tip. The smaller islands and reefs around it include Hula Hula, Mahmya, Paradise, Disco Beach and a constellation of named coral patches the captains know by heart. All of them are inside the marine protected area.

Orange Bay, Hula Hula and Mahmya are all "Giftun"

This is what surprises most first-time visitors. Orange Bay, the most photographed beach in Hurghada, is on the western edge of Big Giftun. Hula Hula is a separate, much smaller island in the same archipelago, reached by our smaller motor boats. Mahmya is another island within the same protected zone, with a different setup. They are all part of the same Giftun system, but the day on each one feels very different because the boats, the crowds and the beach layout differ.

How long it takes to get there

From Hurghada Marina or El Mamsha pier, the closest Giftun spots are 20 to 30 minutes by boat and about 60 to 90 minutes by traditional motor boat. Orange Bay specifically takes around 90 minutes by traditional boat because it sits on the far western tip of Big Giftun.

The reefs

Between the islands sit some of the best beginner-friendly snorkeling reefs on the Red Sea. The water is shallow (1-5 meters in most stops we use), the visibility is consistently above 15 meters, and the reef life is dense: parrotfish, lionfish, butterflyfish, sergeant major schools, the occasional small reef shark, and (on lucky days) a hawksbill turtle.

Marine park rules

Everything you visit inside the Giftun archipelago is part of the Hurghada marine protected area. The rules: no anchoring on the coral (boats use moorings), no fishing, no collecting shells or coral, no chasing or touching marine life, no littering. Marine park fees are already included in every Yala Hurghada trip price.

Trips that visit the Giftun archipelago

Our Orange Bay Island full-day boat trip, the Hula Hula boat trip and most of our private charter routes all spend time inside the Giftun marine park. If you want the classic Hurghada snorkeling photograph, any of these will get you there.

### Hula Hula Island URL: https://yala-hurghada.com/destinations/hula-hula

Hula Hula is the small, quiet alternative to Orange Bay. It's a separate island in the same Giftun archipelago, but reached by our smaller motor boats. Groups are capped at 12 guests, the crossing is short, and the beach is rarely crowded.

How it's different from Orange Bay

Orange Bay is the popular long sandbar on the western tip of Big Giftun. Hula Hula is a smaller separate island inside the same archipelago, with a different feel: shallow sheltered water on three sides, fewer day-tripper boats, and no big-boat dock. Most travelers who've done both prefer Hula Hula for the calmer, more private day.

boat only

Traditional motor boats do not land at Hula Hula. We use smaller motor boats with a maximum of 12 guests per boat. The crossing from Hurghada Marina takes about 25 minutes. Boats moor in the shallow water at the edge of the island; you walk in.

The day on the island

The day combines two reef snorkeling stops on the way (the captain picks based on wind and crowds), several hours of beach time on the calm side of the island for swimming and photos, and a lunch served on board (grilled fish or chicken, rice, salad, fruit). The reef around Hula Hula is shallow and good for first-time snorkelers.

Who Hula Hula is best for

Travelers who want the classic Red Sea snorkeling experience without the crowds of the bigger islands. Couples on a relaxed day. Small groups of friends who want a private-feeling charter without paying private-charter prices. Photographers, the light on the small turquoise side of the island in late morning is exceptional.

The Hula Hula trip

Our Hula Hula Island boat trip from Hurghada includes free round-trip hotel transfer, two reef snorkeling stops, lunch on board, snorkeling gear, and a bilingual marine guide. Maximum 12 guests per boat.

### Orange Bay URL: https://yala-hurghada.com/destinations/orange-bay

Orange Bay is the picture-postcard reason most travelers add a boat trip to their Hurghada holiday. It's a long, low, blindingly white sandbar on the western tip of Big Giftun island, with shallow turquoise water on both sides and a coral garden running the length of the beach. About 90 minutes from El Mamsha pier by traditional motor boat.

What Orange Bay actually looks like

Imagine a thin strip of white sand, maybe two meters wide in places, sticking out into the Red Sea. On one side: calm shallow turquoise water that you can walk into for fifty meters before it reaches your waist. On the other side: slightly deeper water with the reef visible just below the surface. The sand is fine and warm. There are no buildings on the bay itself, just shaded loungers and beach umbrellas set up for the day.

How Orange Bay relates to Giftun

Orange Bay is not a separate island. It's a specific stretch of beach on the western tip of Big Giftun, inside the protected Hurghada marine park. The name "Orange Bay" is a local nickname that has stuck with the tour industry, but technically you are visiting Giftun island.

The two snorkeling stops

Every Orange Bay day trip from Hurghada includes two stops at reef gardens on the way to and from the bay. The captain picks the reefs based on wind direction and how busy each stop is that day. The reefs are sheltered, shallow (1-3 meters above the corals) and good for first-time snorkelers. Snorkeling gear, life vests and a guide are provided.

Lunch on the boat

Lunch is cooked on board the same morning: grilled chicken, rice, fresh salad, bread, fruit and unlimited soft drinks. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available with advance notice. The boat returns to the bay's main mooring after the second snorkel stop, anchors there, and lunch is served on deck.

Best time of year

Orange Bay is busy year-round. October through April is the comfortable season for snorkeling: water 22-25°C and air 22-28°C. May through September is hot (32-40°C) but the water is warmer (26-29°C). We avoid Orange Bay on the windiest days when the marina advises against the crossing.

Trips to Orange Bay

Our Orange Bay Island full-day boat trip includes free round-trip hotel transfer from any Hurghada hotel between Sahl Hasheesh and El Gouna, two snorkeling stops, three hours on the bay, lunch on board and a bilingual marine guide.

### Ozirea Island URL: https://yala-hurghada.com/destinations/ozirea-island

Ozirea Island is the newest, and the most polished, of the Giftun islands you can reach from Hurghada. The boat ride is around 60 to 75 minutes from the marina, and the island has been built up with a real plan: a wooden seafront boardwalk along the shore, an island swimming pool, a buffet restaurant under shade, sunbeds with towel service, and clean changing facilities.

What sets Ozirea apart from the other Giftun islands

Orange Bay is a wild sandbar. Hula Hula is the small, quiet end of the archipelago. Mahmya is the older, busier classic. Ozirea is the newcomer: a Giftun island that opened with a finished, resort-style setup. The same crystal-clear water, but with amenities you would expect from a five-star beach club.

The island pool and seafront boardwalk

Ozirea has a swimming pool on the island and a wooden boardwalk that runs along the shore with open views across the Red Sea. Swim, cool off, stroll between dips, take photos and watch the sea. Lockable lockers and clean changing rooms are a few steps from the water.

The buffet on the island

Lunch on Ozirea is an open buffet served at the island restaurant, not a packed lunch on the boat: grilled fish, grilled chicken, rice, salads, freshly baked bread, fresh fruit, mineral water and soft drinks. Alcoholic drinks are available at the island bar (paid in cash).

The snorkel stop

On the way to Ozirea the boat anchors for around 45 minutes at a sheltered Giftun reef. The reef suits first-time snorkelers and a marine guide is in the water with the group. Mask, snorkel, fins and life vest are included.

Two ways to visit Ozirea

We run two day trips to Ozirea so you can pick the experience that fits:

The day flow

Hotel pickup around 08:00, the boat leaves Hurghada Marina at 09:00, a snorkel stop on the way, around three to four hours on Ozirea (pool, boardwalk, beach, buffet, photos), then the return crossing brings you back to your hotel by around 17:00. Free round-trip hotel transfer is included.

### Dolphin House URL: https://yala-hurghada.com/destinations/dolphin-house

Dolphin House is the most misunderstood name on the Hurghada tour board. Most travelers think it's a single fixed reef. It's not. Dolphin House is a type of boat trip, named after the wild spinner dolphins it's built around. The exact reef the boat heads for is decided each morning by the captain.

Why the location changes

Wild spinner dolphins follow their own routine. They feed offshore at night and rest in shallow, sheltered reefs during the day. The pod's preferred resting spot depends on wind direction, water temperature, recent disturbance, and how the pod itself has moved over the previous week. There is no scheduled "appointment" with the dolphins, because they are wild.

That's why our captain decides the exact reef each morning, using:

Only the captain can make this call. It's the difference between a fake "guaranteed dolphin" tourist trip and a real wild-dolphin experience.

Where we go

There is no single fixed spot. Some days the pod is at a sheltered Hurghada-area reef, a horseshoe-shaped reef about an hour from Hurghada whose sheltered inner lagoon the pod likes to rest inside; other days the captain routes to a different sheltered reef in the Hurghada area. He decides each morning from the wind and the latest sightings.

What we never do

We do not feed the dolphins. We do not chase them. We do not touch them. We do not enter the inner lagoon when the pod is resting. We snorkel on the outer reef edge, where dolphins regularly choose to swim past in their own time. If the pod isn't there on a given day, we tell you. Most days they are. A few days a year they aren't, and we make the day great anyway with snorkeling and lunch.

What you'll see when the pod is there

Spinner dolphins are small (1.5-2 meters), social, and curious. They surface in pods of 10 to 50 individuals. From the boat you'll see their spinning leaps as they communicate. In the water you'll hear their clicks and whistles. They typically swim past snorkelers calmly and at their own pace, sometimes coming within a few meters before moving on.

Important: this is not Marsa Alam's a sheltered Hurghada-area reef

The famous "Dolphin House" in tourism brochures is sometimes confused with a sheltered Hurghada-area reef, a different reef about 6 hours south of Hurghada near Marsa Alam. That's a separate trip from a different city. The Hurghada Dolphin House trip uses Hurghada-area reefs only, most commonly a sheltered Hurghada-area reef.

The Hurghada Dolphin House trip

Our Dolphin House Reef boat trip from Hurghada leaves the marina at 08:30 to give you the best chance of meeting the pod before tourist traffic builds. It includes free hotel transfer, snorkeling gear, lunch on board and a bilingual marine guide who briefs you on dolphin etiquette before you enter the water.

### Desert Safari URL: https://yala-hurghada.com/destinations/desert-safari

The Hurghada desert is not the rolling sand-sea Sahara most travelers picture. It's a wide, rocky plateau immediately east of the city, run by Bedouin families who've lived in this area for generations. The classic Hurghada desert safari is part adventure ride, part hosted dinner, and almost entirely run by them.

What the desert actually looks like

40 minutes inland from Hurghada the road ends and the open plateau begins. Flat to rolling terrain, scattered with rocky outcrops, dry wadi beds and patches of soft sand. The horizon is mountains on one side and the Red Sea coast on the other. No buildings, no power lines, no light pollution. At night the stars are the brightest thing for kilometers in every direction.

Who lives here

The Bedouin families who run the camps with us belong to long-established Eastern-Desert tribes. They speak Arabic and basic tourist English, host visitors year-round, and cook food the way it's been cooked here for generations. The dinner part of the safari is genuinely their hospitality, not a tourism performance.

What you'll do

What to wear and bring

Closed shoes (non-negotiable for the quad), comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dusty, long sleeves for sun protection, a scarf for your face on the quad, and a light jacket for the evening. The temperature drops fast after sunset, especially November to March.

When to go

The Hurghada desert safari runs every afternoon year-round. The most comfortable months are October to April when the daytime ride is cooler. Summer afternoons (June to August) are hot but the evening is pleasant.

The Super Safari trip

Our Super Safari Adventure bundles all four desert experiences (quad, jeep, camel, dinner) into one six-hour afternoon-to-evening program. Free hotel transfer included.

For a deeper look at what to wear, the food, and the Bedouin camp experience, read our Hurghada Desert Safari guide.
