Super Safari (6 hours)
The classic combo: quad bike across the plateau, sandboarding on a small dune, a camel ride, Bedouin tea and dinner in a tented camp, and a sunset photo stop. Best for first-timers who want everything in one day.
Hurghada travel guide
The plateau east of Hurghada turns into a quad bike, jeep and camel area within 30 minutes of the marina. Four ways to experience it, all weather-independent.
The Hurghada desert is the easiest part of the trip to plan: it's close, it runs in almost any weather, and you can choose the intensity. Quad bike, camel, sandboard, Bedouin camp dinner, stargazing - mix as you like. Wear closed shoes, bring a light jacket for after sunset, and listen to the guide's safety briefing before you ride.
Not the best fit if
Skip the quad and horse if you are pregnant, have recent back/neck/knee surgery, or have heart conditions you've been advised to avoid exertion with. Always consult your doctor first if in doubt.
The classic combo: quad bike across the plateau, sandboarding on a small dune, a camel ride, Bedouin tea and dinner in a tented camp, and a sunset photo stop. Best for first-timers who want everything in one day.
A shorter program: 60-90 minutes on the quad bike, a short photo stop on the dune, and the ride back at sunset. Best for travelers who already did the long combo last year, or who want a half-day option.
Quad ride or jeep transfer to a stargazing point with a telescope or a guide pointing out constellations. Better than the sunset option on clear nights, especially with kids over six. Bring a warm layer.
A two-hour ride that crosses dunes and a stretch of beach. Open to beginners; a guide rides alongside the whole time. Helmets included.
Quad bike + 4x4 jeep convoy + camel ride + Bedouin dinner with live show. The classic Hurghada desert experience, packed into one afternoon.

Usually yes - the desert is sheltered from the sea wind. A rare dust storm (khamsin) is the main reason we'd cancel a desert day. If we cancel, you get a free rebook or a refund.
Same quad, same plateau. The Super Safari adds the camel, the dinner and the sandboarding. The 3-hour safari keeps just the quad portion plus sunset.
