What makes Ozirea different from Orange Bay or Hula Hula?

Ozirea is the newest and most-developed of the Giftun islands. Where Orange Bay is a wild sandbar and Hula Hula is small and quiet, Ozirea is built up: an infinity pool that opens onto the sea, a proper buffet restaurant under shade, sunbeds with towel service, and clean changing facilities. If you want comfort and amenities alongside the Red Sea snorkel day, Ozirea is the trip.

How long is the boat ride to Ozirea?

Around 60 to 75 minutes each way from Hurghada Marina, depending on weather. The boat is a comfortable day-cruiser with shade, seating on the upper deck, and a small bar.

Is the buffet lunch really included?

Yes. The open buffet on the island is part of the package price. It is freshly cooked and served on the island, with grilled fish, grilled chicken, rice, salads, fresh fruit, mineral water and soft drinks. Alcoholic drinks at the island bar are extra and paid in cash.

Can I really swim in the infinity pool?

Yes, pool access is included. Ozirea's infinity pool is the first in Egypt that blends straight into the sea: you swim up to the edge and look across at the open Red Sea. Lockable lockers and changing rooms are available next to the pool.

Is the trip suitable for children?

Yes. Children under 6 join free, 6 to 11 pay 50%, 12 and up pay full price. The boat has shaded seating, the snorkel reef is sheltered with calm water suitable for first-timers, and the island beach is shallow with sunbeds and umbrellas.

What if the weather is bad?

If the marina closes for safety, we cancel and you can rebook for any other date or get a full refund. We never sail in unsafe conditions.

The island opened to visitors with a real plan: a wooden boardwalk along the shore, an infinity pool that runs straight into the sea (it's the first of its kind in Egypt), a buffet restaurant under shade, sunbeds with towel service, and clean changing facilities. Our full-day trip leaves Hurghada Marina in the morning and crosses to Ozirea in around 60 to 75 minutes. On the way we stop at a sheltered Giftun reef for a guided snorkel session, then anchor at Ozirea for around three hours: time to swim from the sandbar, lay out on a sunbed, take a slow lap in the infinity pool, and eat a freshly prepared open buffet lunch on the island. The day is built for travelers who want the Giftun experience without roughing it. Free round-trip hotel transfer from any Hurghada hotel between Sahl Hasheesh and El Gouna is included.

Air-conditioned mini-van from any Hurghada hotel between Sahl Hasheesh and El Gouna. Around 20 to 30 minutes to the marina.

Welcome briefing on board with coffee and tea. The boat crosses to Ozirea in around 60 to 75 minutes.

Anchored stop at a sheltered Giftun reef. Around 45 minutes in the water with snorkel gear and a marine guide.

We dock at Ozirea. You have about three hours on the island: pool, beach, photos, food.

Pickup window 06:30 - 07:30 from any Hurghada hotel. Hurghada transfer is free. Pickup from El Gouna, Sahl Hasheesh or Makadi Bay is available at +EUR 10 per guest one-way, paid on arrival.
